Clean Up Australia Day 2026
Clean Up Australia Day is on the horizon. EcoMarines is well-experienced in tackling litter and waste, and we’ve proudly participated in organized clean-ups over the years.
Clean Up Australia Day is the day to bring communities together to remove litter and waste, conserve the environment, and promote sustainability through long-term responsible waste habits. It is run by not-for-profit organization, Clean Up Australia.
EcoMarines celebrated a triumphant effort at last year’s organised clean-up, made even more successful thanks to the valued support of Brisbane City Council, Urban Utilities, Tangalooma Island Resort, and the dedicated team from Clean Up Australia.
But we’re not stopping there! In 2026, we’re aiming even higher as we gear up for our upcoming Wynnum clean-up — and we can’t wait to make an even bigger impact together.

We’ll be there alongside our EcoMarines Ambassadors, sponsors, partners, and volunteers – all proudly supported by Urban Utilities and Tangalooma Island Resort. Come lend a hand, enjoy the community spirit, and help keep our environment clean and beautiful!
Or if you are not in the Wynnum area, you can head to cleanup.org.au and register your community, school or business for an organised clean-up! By signing up and registering, the great folks over at Clean Up Australia will send you a “Clean-Up-Kit” completely free of charge!
The dedicated dates for Clean Up Australia Day this year are:
🗓️ Sunday 1st of March (Official Clean Up Australia Day)
🗓️ Friday 27th of February (Dedicated Schools Clean Up Day)
🗓️ Tuesday 24th of February (Dedicated Business Clean Up Day)
If you can’t observe or participate during these dates, register anyway! Clean Up Australia Day can be registered for any day of the year, and you’ll still receive your free Clean-Up-Kit!
